The reality of humanity is we all were born with a disposition to live for self and defy God. This condition will never completely go away while living on earth.
Jesus knows a human being better than he knows himself. He sees the depth of your personality and inner weaknesses.
The decision for Jesus gives a Christian a way to be free from the law of sin and death. Jesus has sealed every believer with the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Jesus and will make you free from the law of sin and death.
There are two laws at work in the life of every believer. There is the law of the Spirit of life and the law of sin and death.
The law of the Spirit of life is living under the authority of the Holy Spirit and inviting Him to govern your thoughts and decision making.
This requires prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
The believer must be in personal contact with Jesus and living in compliance with His instructions.
Jesus desires to have a personal and embracing relationship with a believer built on faith and obedience. He despises religion which will lead a believer astray with requirements to obey laws, do works and meet the obligations of a church.
The decision for Jesus is to live for Him and die to self. He wants all of your life.
Commit your works each day to Jesus and ask Him to fill you with His thoughts.
Invite the Holy Spirit to be your friend and protector. He wants to give you a life you can never achieve on your own!
