“No weapon formed against you shall prosper”
Isaiah 54:17
This is promise is a quandary because we all suffer attacks and adversity in the world.
If you were to tell Job this promise He would respond He is trusting God but suffering deeply.
The Christ follower cannot accept this promise at face value.
We live in seasons with Jesus ranging from deprivation to prosperity.
Jesus engineers trials in the life of a believer but He does promise to deliver a Christian in His perfect timing.
Satan is out to steal, kill and destroy. At times God allows Satan to attack a believer. Just look at Job!
God promises to protect a believer who is under attack.
We can find protection through prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for the voice of Jesus.
Submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and invite Him to protect and help you rebuke the tactics of Satan through the word of God and the blood of Jesus.
Spiritual warfare requires wearing the armor of God. This is your protection and safety in disarming Satan.
“I will rebuke the devourer for your sake
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground” Malachi 3:11
