“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” Philippians 4:6
The Holy Spirit spoke to me today about the subject of supplication.
Supplication is defined biblically as reaching out to Jesus for an urgent need such as physical healing, strength, wisdom, or deliverance from trouble.
We pray by faith believing in the promises of Jesus and not what we see with our eyes. Without faith we cannot please God.
“My God will supply your every need according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
Jesus desires to meet your needs and His eyes are always upon you and His ears hear all your cries.
Pray for your urgent needs and listen to the voice of Jesus for His omniscient wisdom.
Make sure you are covered by the blood of Jesus and ask the Most High to convict you of anything you are thinking or doing that grieves the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will keep a believer right with Jesus. Submit to His authority and invite Him to govern your thoughts and decisions.
“I would have lost heart unless I had believed
that I would see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.”
Jesus is a promise keeper!
