Shaking in fear over the conviction of Jesus!

“Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle.”

1 Samuel 3:11

Eli was a priest ordained by God. He allowed his sons to steal from the treasury of the temple and do many vile things. This story is a precursor of what is taking place today in Christianity.

Jesus wants a clean church with leaders operating in integrity and pure motives.

Jesus convicts believer’s over their sins. He sees everything in a believer’s life and knows him better than he knows himself. If a believer thinks he is without sin he is lying to God. The Bible clearly explains all have sinned and no one is exempt.

Jesus gives a believer glimpses of his inner nature. But Jesus sees into the depth of your soul and knows your corrupt inner nature and desire to live for self and defy God.

We must have an open heart to change and ask Jesus to convict us of anything that grieves the Holy Spirit.

Jesus died as a sacrifice for sin. The blood of Jesus cleanses a believer of all his sins and makes him acceptable to God.

Jesus is not looking for perfection but a willing heart to change. We can overcome sin by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.

The Christ follower must submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and ask Him to guide your thoughts and decision making.

We can be victorious over sin by praying for the good, acceptable and perfect will of the Lord.

Commit your works each day to Jesus and walk in oneness with Him by faith.
