“Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years.” Hebrews 3:9
We test Jesus by falling into unbelief. This makes Jesus very angry and will bring His judgements. The Israelites referred to in this scripture tested God and died in the wilderness.
Jesus is controversial and unpredictable. He is almighty God and operates in His Father’s ways. We are self motivated people with big egos. As believers, we have to abide in Jesus through the Holy Spirit to understand His spiritually ordained ways.
Jesus instructs His people to walk by faith and not by what they see with their eyes.
The ministry of Jesus is built entirely on faith not keeping laws, doing works, or hiding in religion.
Walking with Jesus will bring troubles into the life of a believer. The trials are engineered by Jesus to strengthen your faith, teach patience and learn to rest in Him.
The Christ follower will suffer following the role model of Jesus. This is the characteristic of a believer who lays down his life for Jesus. Your life will mirror the actions of Jesus while He was on the earth.
We live in a world that is not a friend of Jesus and face the challenges of the End Times.
To survive in this world we must walk by faith and vigilantly seek the good, acceptable and perfect will of Jesus for our life.
Jesus desires for a believer to build a personal and deep relationship with Him through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.
Jesus asks for obedience regardless of the personal cost or lack of logic.
The Holy Spirit is your only hope to meet the challenges of today. He is the life of Jesus and sealed in a believer. We access the Holy Spirit by submitting to His authority and giving Him permission to guide our thoughts and decisions.
We have to submit to Jesus and let go regardless of the conditions in our life. Jesus is a promise keeper and will give a believer more than he asks or thinks!
