Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.” Titus 3:10-11

The Holy Spirit spoke to me today about how divisive actions cause separation from Jesus.

The definition of divisive refers to disunity or dissension in our attitudes.

Divisive actions happen for many reasons.

Many believers allow unchecked emotions to create disunity in their relationships with others in the Body of  Christ.

Religion creates disunity from Jesus. Christians attempt to keep laws, do works and obey regulations. This leads to condemnation and separation from Jesus.

Many Christians feel they are above non believers and create dissension in their lack of understanding the unconditional love of Jesus.

Jesus desires to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with a believer built on faith and obedience. There is no room for a self righteous or superior attitude.

We are to live in peace with family and friends and esteem others above our self. 

We are instructed to confront a divisive person and give them two warnings. If they are not willing to change then have nothing to do with them!
