“When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble.” Proverbs 4:12
Jesus desires to guide your pace of life. We all mess it up with spontaneous self motivated decisions
Jesus does not want your walk to be blocked with hurdles. And, when you need a speedy pace to accomplish your goals Jesus does not want you to stumble.
This is about seeking the order and simplicity of Jesus in your life.
Jesus wants your pathway to be smooth.
This is accomplished by the Holy Spirit who lives in all believers. He is the life of Jesus and desires to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.
We activate the Holy Spirit in our life by submitting to His authority. We invite the Holy Spirit to guide our footsteps and decision making.
This will release His wisdom and you will consistently hear His voice.
The pace of life created by Jesus gets interrupted when we take a timeout and seek a desire of the flesh. Or, we turn to worldly solutions or values.
It is difficult to stay on track with Jesus. We need the discipline of prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
Commit your works each day to Jesus and stay anchored to the Holy Spirit. This will keep you on the pace of life with Jesus.
The other hindrance that will interrupt your pace of life is the attacks of Satan. Be alert and stand firm with the tools of Jesus to defeat the work of the demons.
Pray that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I belong to Jesus.
The words of Malachi 3:11 are very powerful in fighting off the tactics of Satan.
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field.”
