Religion demands for a Christian to keep laws, do works and fulfill the obligations of a local church. These requirements all died on the Cross with Jesus.
Religion is compromised and filled with impure motives. Jesus said they crush believers with unbearable demands.
Jesus said outwardly they look like righteous people but inwardly their hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Jesus desires for a Christian to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with the Most High built on faith and obedience.
The goal of a Christian is to seek good, acceptable and perfect will of Jesus. He does this by prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
He turns away from religion and walks in oneness with Jesus anchored to the Holy Spirit.
The decision for Jesus is to die to self and live for Him. We honor Jesus by abiding in “Not my will but Yours be done.”
We avoid religion by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit and asking Him to show us clearly the difference between God and religion.
The Holy Spirit will guide a believer into the purity and holiness of Jesus and how to dismiss all forms of religion.
Follow the role model of Jesus. He is a perfect God!
