“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
We live in the End Times in a world controlled by Satan.
The gift of salvation is your only hope to escape the attacks of Satan. He wants to destroy Christians and create havoc in the world.
The results of the recent mid terms reflect the apathy of many people in our country. The world is a hostile setting for a Christian.
The gift of salvation gives a mere mortal the ability to live with Jesus forever. Jesus chose you before you were born. And, He knows you better than you know yourself!
Salvation comes to those who make a decision by faith and can not be obtained through works, intellect or self initiative.
Salvation does not relate to time. It is a personal and symbiotic relationship between a believer and Jesus built on faith and obedience.
Salvation is a decision that cannot be taken half heartedly if a believer wants the presence and power of Jesus. It is not a call to religion which will corrupt and lead a believer astray from Jesus.
The decision is to enter through either the wide or narrow gate. Most believers enter through the wide gate which is less threatening to their lifestyle.
Very few enter through the narrow gate because a believer has to give up everything to follow Jesus and will experience many trials living in a chaotic world.
The advantage of the narrow gate is a Christian experiences signs and wonders, lives in the kingdom of God and is protected by powerful angels. He abides in the reality and presence of Jesus every day through the Holy Spirit.
The believer submits to the authority of the Holy Spirit and invites the Spirit to draw him into a powerful relationship with the Most High.
The gift of salvation is nourished by prayer, reading the Bible, and listening for the voice of Jesus.
Jesus wants a Christian’s total abandonment to Him. He wants a Christ follower to comply with His commands regardless of the personal cost or lack of logic.
Salvation is walking with the Living Christ every day of your life!
