Your words define your relationship with Jesus!

“Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?” James 3:11

We get in trouble because our words are not under the authority of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus shows a believer glimpses of himself the picture is ugly.

A Christian has to be open to the conviction and correction of the Holy Spirit at all times with a willing heart to change.

The believer who has envy and self seeking in his heart is an earthly, sensual and demonic influenced person.

The character of a Christ follower comes from Heaven and is peaceable, gentle, willing to yield to Jesus, full of mercy and the fruit of the Spirit.

How can a believer speak the words of Jesus and be a powerful light for the Lord?

This is determined by the seriousness of your decision for Jesus.

Most Christians enter through the wide gate because it is more comfortable and less disruptive to their lifestyle.

The Christ follower dedicated wholly to the Most High enters through the narrow gate. He lives for Jesus and dies to self. “Not my will but Yours be done.”

He prays, reads the Bible and listens for the voice of Jesus.

He submits to the authority of the Holy and invites Him to control his words and actions.

Jesus desires to have a personal and symbiotic relationship with a believer built on faith and obedience. He despises religion which corrupts a believer.

The purpose of Jesus is for a believer is to seek the good, acceptable and perfect will of the Lord.

Pray for your words to be under the authority of the Holy Spirit and ask Him to fill you with His thoughts!
