“But whoever is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17
The Holy Spirit spoke the word amalgamated tonight as an example of how a Christian is strongly united with Jesus.
A mere mortal is merged into a new creature in Christ. This is an eternal union that cannot be broken by any force in the world.
The believer is united with Jesus in an unbreakable relationship. He lives in oneness with Jesus aligned on faith and obedience.
This amalgamated union will seem precipitous and vague until a believer makes a decision to live for Jesus and die to self.
The purpose of a Christ follower is to seek the perfect will of Jesus in his life.
He does this through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
He commits his works each day to Jesus and walks by faith believing in the promises of Jesus and not what he sees with his eyes.
He submits to the authority of the Holy Spirit and invites the Spirit to enter into his thoughts and decision making.
He has an iron clad relationship with Jesus and lives in confidence and boldness with the Most High.
For in Him, we live and move and have our being!
