“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4
The world is a broken place filled with darkness and sexual immorality. The world is not a friend of Jesus. The scripture above explains if a believer loves the values of the world he is an enemy of God.
The world hates Jesus. Satan is attempting to destroy the reputation and influence of Jesus.
We live in the world but we are not of the world.
A Christ follower belongs to Jesus and walks in oneness with Him anchored to the Holy Spirit.
We sever our ties with the world through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
The priority is to seek the good, acceptable and perfect will of Jesus. We find the perfect will of Jesus by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit and inviting Him to guide our thoughts and decision making.
The world will never be like the past with strong family values and moral attitudes.
We live in the End Times and the challenges will be very difficult for all. To survive the believer must be sold out for Jesus and zealously seeking His will. Build a strong personal relationship with Jesus filled with unyielding faith and obedience.
Turn away from religion which will corrupt a believer’s faith and lead him astray.
The world is broken but Jesus is perfect. Make Him the centerpiece of your life!
