“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:14
A cadre is defined as a small, specially trained group of people who form the core or foundation of a large organizational unit. In the spiritual context we are referring to the Body of Christ.
The Holy Spirit spoke the word cadre to me last night about those who enter through the narrow gate to live with Jesus. They are anointed and gifted people with a strong passion for Jesus.
Jesus is not rejecting those who enter through the wide gate but He is suggesting a believer redefine his commitment to Jesus so he can experience the fullness and presence of Jesus
The decision for Jesus is to live for Him above else. It is not about religion but building a personal and deep relationship built on faith and obedience.
Jesus is a very powerful God but He is not going to share the depth of His life with a casual believer.
A Christian has to spend time with Jesus to get to know Him. This requires prayer, reading the Bible and listening for His voice.
Commit your works each day to the Holy Spirit and pray for His thoughts to be established in your mind.
For in Him, we live and move and have our being!
