The joy of Jesus is not determined by the circumstances in your life. This joy cannot be found through intellect, religion, or worldly gifts.

The world provides short glimpses of joy but cannot make any promises.

The Bible instructs believers to be anxious for nothing through prayer and reaching out to Jesus with humility. This will bring the peace of Jesus which surpasses all understanding.

The supernatural joy of Jesus comes through the power of the Holy Spirit who is sealed in all believers.

The Christ follower can access this joy by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit and inviting Him to guide their footsteps and decision making.

The proverb below explains if we defer our hope the heart becomes sick and filled with depression but waiting on God brings gifts from the tree of life.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick but when the desire comes it is the tree of life.”
