“Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.” John 11:9
Jesus spoke these words when his disciples questioned him about traveling to Bethany to heal Lazarus.
The Pharisees were looking for Jesus to stone Him. They were very close to Bethany.
Jesus did nothing in His life without inquiring of God. He and the Father were one.
Jesus was given the approval to go to Bethany but was told to wait a few days for the perfect timing.
Jesus like His Father has omniscient wisdom and sees every detail of the future. This is a very valuable gift and should be cherished by every believer.
Seek the wisdom and protection of Jesus to prevent stumbling.
If you walk with Jesus he will be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your pathway.
We stumble by making hasty decisions out of emotions or the desires of the flesh.
The secret is to give the Holy Spirit authority over your life and commit your works each day to Him. This is your safety net.
