“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” I Thessalians 5:24
There are times when we all doubt God’s promises. The abundant life does not seem like anything He has promised.
We accept the promise of the gift of salvation relating to death but question the efficacy of Jesus in our present life.
This Bible verse was spoken to me this morning by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is reassuring Christians He is a faithful God and can be trusted implicitly. Even when we are crushed with adversities.
God kept His Word concerning Jesus. He lived and died and was raised to live forever with His Father. He was given power and dominion over the heavens and earth.
We have a life patterned after the Cross. We suffer and go through grueling trials.
We wait for years to receive the prophesies of Jesus.
This is about the reality and presence of Jesus in our life here on earth. Why is He distant and feels so removed at times?
How can we walk by faith when all we see is bleakness?
The only way to find faith to endure impossible situations is by the Holy Spirit. He is the life of Christ and is sealed in all Christians.
He speaks to believers, provides comfort and reassurance about Jesus. In the darkest moments of life the Holy Spirit desires to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway.
The only way we can survive this life on earth is to pray, read the Bible and listen for the voice of Jesus. He is very approachable!
We have to pray for unyielding faith believing in the promises of Jesus when we see no hope.
Jesus never changes. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He will do what He has promised you!
