“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you. He shall never permit the righteous to be shaken.” Psalm 55:22

This is a powerful promise from God and will work today for anyone. There is no waiting period with this ironclad promise of Jesus.

We all have burdens and worries. They are a condition of life and inevitable. Jesus died to free us from the anguish and worry over these troubles.

This promise does not necessarily commit to taking away burdens but giving a Christian peace, strength and freedom from the burdens.

The starting point is to cast the burdens upon on Jesus with honor and respect for His name. This is releasing the burdens to Jesus. They no longer belong to you.

This act of faith will sustain a believer with joy and peace. The key is do not take these burdens back or you will open the door to worries and up and down emotions.

Jesus also promises that He will not allow your righteous position with Him to be shaken or taken away.
