“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!” Matthew 4:4
Jesus was hungry. He had not eaten any food in forty days. The simple thing to do was to eat and satisfy His appetite. But Jesus was listening to God not to the temptations of Satan.
The priority of a Christian is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things will be added.
The choice is to be obedient to Jesus or satisfy the desires of the flesh.
The Christ follower has the mind of Jesus and He wants to have a consistent dialogue with a believer.
This happens by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit and inviting the Most High to fill your mind with His thoughts.
Jesus speaks to His people and guides believers with omniscient wisdom.
A Christian can hear Jesus by praying, reading the Bible and quietly listening for His voice.
It is impossible to do the will of Jesus unless a believer is connected to His voice.
Commit your works each day to Jesus and walk by faith aligned with the Holy Spirit. A believer’s life will become alive with the reality and presence of Jesus.
Experience signs and wonders, walk in oneness with Jesus and live in the presence of powerful angels.
This happens to those who are willing to die to self and live for Jesus!
Make Jesus a happening in every moment of life!
