“For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted.” Psalm 47:9
The Bible is filled with promises about God’s protection. But as Christians we run into troubles all the time. What gives with Jesus?
The troubles will come because we live in a broken world and have to face the challenges of the End Times.
The promise is Jesus will shield a believer during adversity not take it away. We can be confident Jesus will deliver a believer in His perfect timing.
The troubles are a constant challenge for a Christian and are ordained by God. They strength your faith, teach patience and learning how to rest in God.
Seek the shields of Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible and listening for the voice of Jesus.
I rebuke Satan and his demons every day of my life with the word of God. I tell Satan no weapon formed against me shall prosper and I rebuke him with the blood of Jesus. I speak the promise of Malachi 3:11 to Satan and order him to flee from my life.
Look upon the troubles in your life as a victory through Jesus. The troubles transform a believer into a powerful witness for Jesus.
