The challenge for a Christian is understanding Jesus can give a believer a copious life filled with His goodness.
If a believer attempts to make decisions on his own the results will be disastrous. Walking with Jesus is built on this spiritual principle “Not my will but Yours be done”
If a believer skirts around this spiritual principle he will never discover the reality and presence of the Living Christ in his life.
The spiritual disciple for a believer is to commit his works each day to Jesus and pray for His good, acceptable and perfect will.
Jesus has omniscient wisdom and knows every detail about your future. Why would you disregard Jesus for human thoughts coming from a corrupt inner core?
The spiritual training is to pray for wisdom, read the Bible and listen for the voice of Jesus.
Inquire of the Lord in all your decision making. This should be a daily practice in the life of a believer.
The Christ follower has the mind of Jesus and He desires to have a consistent dialogue with a believer.
This will happen by submitting to the authority of the Holy Spirit and inviting Him to guide your thoughts and decision making.
The Holy Spirit is the life of Christ and is sealed in all believers. He is the portal to the powerful attributes of Jesus and is how to build a personal and embracing relationship with Jesus.
Do not trade off Jesus for religion. He wants a powerful and deep connection with a believer!
