“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

Isaiah, the prophet, uses an analogy of rain and snow coming down from Heaven to water the earth, bring seed to the sower and food to be eaten to explain how the words of the Lord never return void.

The words of Jesus touch those who have an open heart to the Most High.

The words cannot penetrate the man who does not believe in God and lives for self. He is blinded to the truths of the Lord.

The words of Jesus shall accomplish His purposes and be a powerful conviction and witness for the glory and power of Jesus.

As a Christ follower we speak the words of Jesus by yielding to the Holy Spirit. He lives in all believers and knows the precise words that will be powerful in bringing change and openness to Jesus. 

The woman Jesus met at the well is a perfect example of how the words of knowledge spoken by Jesus accomplished the gift of salvation.

The word of the Lord is powerful and alive. It is sharper than a double edged sword and penetrates into the soul, spirit, joints and body tissue to discern the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing is hidden from Jesus!

A Christian must submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit and be filled with His omniscient wisdom and anointing to be a powerful light for Jesus. 

Jesus said; “He who believes in Me, out of his heart will flow rivers of Living Water.”
