“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Jesus says its all or nothing! We have to be grounded in Jesus to be a powerful light for Him. And, if we attempt to live without Jesus we can do nothing.

The analogy is a tree in this spiritual truth. Everyone has a standing or position relating to the tree. This determines your vitality and presence with Jesus.

The natural man lives by self sufficiency and is blinded to Jesus. He seeks the desires of the flesh and worldly values.

This man will be cut down and thrown into a fire.

The believer who clings to the vine will be pruned so He can be transformed into the character of Jesus and be a powerful disciple.

Jesus is explaining how He measures a man or woman. This seems harsh but it is a reflection of His unconditional love and plan for a Christ follower.

Jesus has one goal for a believer. He wants them to seek the perfect will of God and walk in oneness with Him. 

Jesus said he who believes in Me will be a fountain of Living Water touching all those in your life. 

The Holy Spirit will anoint a believer and transform his personality and demeanor.

People encountering a believer will know He belongs to the Most High without a word being spoken about Jesus!
