“Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.” 2 Samuel 7:28

This question determines the strength of your faith and commitment to God. This also delineates a believer from a non believer.
God has spoken through His Word and has made faithful promises to those who believe in Him. And God never changes! So you have to accept the promises of God without any proof.
This is the nature of God. He works in the invisible and faith is the cornerstone to a relationship with God.
You have to determine if you are going to place your trust in what you can see or enter into the realm of faith. The problem with trusting what you can see is that earthly possessions are not permanent and can quickly disappear or become corrupted by evil.
The matter of trust is about choosing the ability of a sovereign (ultimate and unlimited power) God to meet all your needs or depending on self.
If you are honest and really look into yourself, you will see your shortcomings and lack of godly values. Do you really want to trust yourself with your life or turn to the Creator of the world?
God is perfect. He is holy, pure, and just. He has power and dominion over everything in the heaven and earth.
The one person you can trust is God. The world will fade away but He is a rock that will never change and offers you an abundant life.
